wedding planning world with both feet. I secured an internship at Simply Chic and spent the next six years working my way up the ranks—from month-of wedding planner to associate planner to senior planner and wedding designer—before eventually becoming the owner (my favorite role to date!).
Whether I’m cooking up a six-course storm for my Italian family (bring on the truffle risotto and Great Grandma’s sauce) or helping two inspiring people celebrate the beginning of their new life together, I always create from a place of connection. I firmly believe that empathy, understanding, and an open heart are the magic ingredients for making something that’s not just beautiful—but meaningful. Today, there’s nothing I love more than using my honed eye for design and innate “people person” spirit to ensure yours is a celebration of love unlike any other on Earth.
Hi, friend—I’m over the moon that you found this boutique planning-and-design family we call Simply Chic!
As someone who was born and raised in a big, warm Italian family, hosting and generosity have been a cornerstone of my joy for as long as I can remember. When friends would come over for sleepovers, I had to make everything special—from the design of the room to the “tasting menu” for the night. As I got older, carefully curated sleepovers turned into stunning dinner parties and high-quality happy hours at my house. I soon found myself the go-to organizer who was asked to plan every gathering and girls’ trip for our friend group (and you can bet my planning was always complete with timed-out itineraries to keep everyone on track).
Right out of college, I followed my calling for planning purposeful celebrations and jumped into the luxury

an incredible amount about professional discretion and high-touch service (clients included high-ranking politicians and dignitaries)—and I now have the joy of relying on those lessons every day as I plan multifaceted celebrations for discerning couples with high-design dreams.
Today, my heart is most fulfilled when planning social events and weddings that include thoughtful design elements and personal touches. Whether it’s an intimate farewell brunch or a multi-day destination wedding, there’s no greater joy than the reward I get from crafting immersive experiences and defining moments for my couples and their closest friends and family (...though purchasing another summer dress—that I definitely do not need—comes in as a close second).
From a young age, I’ve always been transfixed by the feeling that comes as a result of transforming an ordinary moment into an extraordinary occasion. Whether it was the beginning of spring or the start of the weekend, my mother and grandmother never hesitated to pull out the fine china, throw on their best dress, and make a beautiful moment out of what others might find mundane. Their innate love for elevating the everyday instilled in me the desire to create these same “dream worlds”—and the warm feelings they result in—for others one day.
I went on to work for one of the nation’s 100 largest law firms, where I spent more than a decade honing my logistical prowess and planning large-scale corporate events for Fortune 500 companies. The experience remains one of the most invigorating of my life and taught me

previous chapter in my career, as it taught me how to view and value the many moving pieces of an event through a different—and tighter—lens. It allowed me a nuanced understanding of what each vendor goes through, which, today, helps me effectively advocate for your interests and negotiate with the best of them on your behalf. (Seriously, I never take ‘no’ for an answer—if there’s a will, there’s a way.)
While I will forever love the exhilaration that comes from seeing your event vision come to fruition—if I had to choose my favorite part of this work, it would be the people, without a doubt. Forming relationships with you and yours and being entrusted to create an immersive experience that reflects your individuality is an honor I will never, ever tire of (bonus points if you’re willing to brainstorm the perfect classic getaway car with me).
My enthusiasm for (read: obsession with) high-style events dates back decades to a fateful grocery-store trip when, at seven years old, I asked my mom to purchase my first wedding magazine. I was immediately captivated by the beauty and artistry on those pages—the colors, the dresses, the design elements, the love stories—all of it spoke to me. I began to create mood boards (on my bedroom walls, no less) and attend wedding expos long before any proposal of my own (hey, no shame). Weddings were the first love of my life—and to say I was enamored would be an understatement.
I went on to work in every aspect of events I could get my hands on—taking on roles in catering, paper goods, attire, and bakeries. While I ended up following my ultimate dream of becoming an event planner and designer, I have such gratitude for that

honored to be a part of such an extraordinary day in your life—and I want to make sure every step of our journey isn’t only effortless for you, but exciting. I’m totally the person who aims to please (and please…and please), and I will always go the extra mile—and dig into the nitty-gritty details—to make your dreams a stunning, seamless reality.
Out of all of the fun we get to have together, I believe our initial connection is the most important piece—as it’s what will ultimately become the foundation upon which we build your event. A wedding that speaks to your style and exudes your energy stems from one thing in my eyes: strong communication, which is definitely my thing (I’m even fluent in ASL).
I’ve known I wanted to be in the event industry ever since my college days spent planning trips complete with the most detailed, timed-to-a-T itineraries. As I approached graduation, I accepted an internship with a wedding-planning company and—after producing multiple events with massive guest counts (and finding myself still smiling after the wildly stressful situation that was addressing a major rain-leak in a dinner tent minutes before guests arrived)—there was no question: this was my calling. I loved the intricacies of putting together a multifaceted event, I loved getting to witness two people celebrate their union, and I even loved the days unexpected weather had us on our hands-and-knees with towels soaking up what the storm brought our way. More than anything, I feel so

While the affairs we produce are refined, our process is far from fussy or unapproachable. We’re here to bring a sense of ease, enjoyment, and calm to the all-too-often overwhelming planning process.
